I like solving problems. Understand and explain complex things in simple language.

I have almost 20 years of professional experience across software development, finance, trading and risk management. With degrees in maths and finance, I worked in software, financial consulting and even in an early bitcoin mining pool startup before eventually settling in risk management that sits perfectly somewhere between finance, maths and IT.

10 years ago I moved to Berlin to continue my corporate career, working with international teams across Germany, the UK, Switzerland and other European markets.

I was always most effective during transformations and crisis periods, and much less enthusiastic once things became routine. Eventually I left the corporate world to start my own company. That brought pivots, early success, failures and eventually edtech. Our attempt to move from enterprise, consulting-like work to self-service B2B SaaS did not survive the market and the rise of AI. Now I am focused on consulting and research.

Looking at things from both the corporate and founder chairs, it is impossible to ignore the tectonic changes AI is bringing. So most of my research and projects are now in this domain, and I am happy to connect and cooperate with people interested in the same things.
